As we have travelled through Peru and Ecuador visiting the artisans, I have had a different experience – I have felt happy and impactful. I have experienced Threads’ direct impact on the quality of our artisans’ lives.

Our customers and our Sales Consultants are providing women choices, additional money, and a community that did not exist before as the artisans collaborate to produce our items.

On this trip I have not struggled with the same feelings of “something is wrong here”. Instead, I have felt challenged by how we can sell more belts, earrings, necklaces, and scarves to continue to provide women with choices to add eggs or chicken to their diet, or, to send all of their kids to school instead of sending just one.

We are fulfilled knowing that the small choices we provide our customers make a difference in real lives.
